Dr. Elisabeth Anne Ferlic, MD

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ferlic and I would recommend her to friends and family. She explained the diagnosis and treatment well, so I was comfortable with her recommendations. Her staff was friendly and helpful.

I was sent to her to schedule surgery for bladder and vaginal prolaps that had already been diagnosed by 2 doctors. Expected appointment to last 30 min or less. I was her first appointment for the day. Her assistant informed me that she is always late, which she was. Spent the first hour being questioned about why I thought I had prolaps. I thought she was the doctor and I was the patient. Everything I told her was questioned and analyzed as if I was lying or making it all up. Very frustrated and disappointed. She finally told me she wanted to do a pelvic examination. Waited 20 minutes for her to come back into the room. Finally knocked on the door to see how much longer she would be. Her assistant told me 5 minutes or less. 15 minutes later she came back. All I wanted was to get out of there. I knew that I had been defeated. All I could do was cry. She showed a little compassion as she was examining me. Confirmed that I had stage three bladder prolaps and my vagina had… dropped half way. She left the room and her assistant came in with a list of items I needed to accomplish before I could meet with her in 2 months to discuss the possibility of surgery. I started having issues 2 years ago and have seen several doctors before being diagnosed. Why do I have to start all over again to prove what I have already been diagnosed with? I will not be seeing her again. Not very friendly or helpful. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office.

Dr. Ferlic is one of the best urologist i’ve ever been to and i’ve been to a lot. I told her i has pain and instead of just giving my pills, like every other has done, she actually took the time to do tests and sure enough she found what may be causing the issues. Unfortunately the hospital where she does surgeries doesn’t accept my insurance so i haven’t taken further action. She is the only doctor i trust when it comes to anything related to urology. She takes the time, she cares, listens, and connects with her patients. She is the best.
