Very short on time. Does not explain information clearly. Talks above you instead of to you, like you stupid. And that eye rolling and expressions when asked a question .. not really a people person type of doctor.

The Doctor is caring, personable, knowledgeable, funny and very much into her work and patients. I highly recommend this doctor.

The actions of this doctor caused my mother to have a mild stroke. She took my mom off her blood thinner without advising anyone - this is a 91 year old woman. The doctor's goal was for my mom to be fitted with a Watchman device - however, the referral for that procedure never occurred due to issues at this Cape Cardiology practice. My mom, left for weeks without a blood thinner, had a stroke - fortunately minor. When I told the medical staff at mom's primary care provider, she reported that her husband also suffered from malpractice at this doctor's hands. If your life or your loved one's life is important to you, find another cardiologist asap.

She doesn’t listen or explain things. You get 15 minutes and she is out the door. Extremely condescending. No bedside manner. Very flip. She talks about you to her nurse as if you weren’t sitting there.

She saw me the day before new years after a visit to the ER. My own Dr was uavailable. She took the time to listen to me and asked questions relevant to my issues. I felt, unlike many other visits with other DR*s, she was engaged and genuinely concerned with my problem.

My first encounter with Dr. Thompson was through the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program for people who have had a heart event. This program gave me back my confidence; monitored my cardiac exercise; and educated me with knowledge to help me make healthier decisions regarding nutrition, exercise and how best to maintain a healthy heart. My experience with Dr. Thompson as a Cardiologist has been very positive. She is thorough; competent, easy to talk to.and listens well. The office staff is extremely efficient, returns phone calls promptly and communicates courteously with the patient .

Extremely knowledgeable, explains everything in layman's terms, listens, is patient and personable. I highly recommend her.
