I just had my first visit with Dr Butler and I’m very impressed with her.

I am 35 days into recovery from quad heart bypass surgery performed at St. Mary's hospital, Tucson, AZ, by Dr. Elizabeth Butler and her team. I could not be more pleased with the results. Total time in St. Mary's was 1 day testing, 1.5 days ICU post surgery, 3.5 days PCU (post ICU) and home. Dr. Butler expects perfection from her herself, her team members and total cooperation from her patient. Following her directions worked for me. Recovery was rapid and comfortable but required considerable self discipline from the patient. Her demeanor was very professional, focused, sincere. At first impression I wondered if she had a sense of humor. The answer is a resounding YES but it's subtle. If one takes time to converse with her and/or her NP, Janice you will receive a thorough explanation of the entire process from testing to recovery. My wife, son and I all rate this experience as 5 star.

She performed a major operation on me requiring a number of procedures. I felt confident with her from the first meeting. She was seeing me a number of times most each day after the surgery making sure all my questions were answered. I could tell she has the highest respect of the medical team as well which says a lot. I am happy to have her as my Doctor.

I would trust her with my life

She negligently missed diagnosed me and made it practically impossible to get insurance. Had to go to a real doctor and come out of pocket $2400 to get a letter for the insurance company For the correct diagnosis. She should have her license revoked.

I had an emergency quadruple heart bypass by this physician. Dr. Butler is an excellent surgeon. She is patient and will answer all questions. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr Butler performed open heart single bypass/aortic valve replacement on my wife. Procedure was a success. Dr Butler is rather stoic and professional I was pleased with the results and Dr Butler took the time to visit me before and after the surgery. Extremely satisfied.

My mother passed away hours after she performed open heart surgery, neither her or her associate could give us an explanation of what happened. During a meeting my family had with her she never once looked us in the eyes. But a few weeks after my mom died, Dr. Butler was let go from the hospital. I did some research only to discover Dr. Butler had 3 pending malpractice suits before doing my mothers surgery, a fact that should always be disclosed from the Dr. or hospital and why it wasn't is something we are still working on. It's been two years and still we have no answers.

She is excellent doctor and saves lives. So glad to have found her.
