She barely spoke to me about my concerns and when i tried to voice them she didn't seem to care. She tested me and sent a diagnosis in the mail after about a month (there was also a 3 month wait time to see her, so the entire process took about 4 months). She said my test had elevated scores for adhd and depression but only diagnosed me with anxiety, which didnt make sense because that wasnt even my main concern. Very frustrating that getting help is already so hard and then there are doctors who dont care about their patients wellbeing at all. Dont go to this doctor.

I went in for a updated diagnosis, Dr Caven spent very little time talking with me before the test began. I told her of my dyslexia and she said “take your time.” I proceeded with the test and when finished she said that it would be about 2 weeks for the results. She said I should go over the diagnosis with my regular therapist!!! I received a diagnosis in the mail and was flabbergasted by the results. She threw in a Bipolar 1 diagnosis. I have talked with my regular therapist and also got a second opinion and they all highly disagree with that diagnosis and are amazed at the way this diagnosis was preformed. Yes, this was during COVID. But not going over the diagnosis her self with a patient and instead passing that off to another therapist is sloppy and unprofessional. She ignored the fact that my numbers of ADHD index was mildly elevated. “Results are not consistent with a disorder that is characterized by attention deficits.” Thankfully I went to Dr. Sujit Varma and he was able to… get me a brain scan that tests for ADHD that took less than 10 minutes, results the next day. I Do have ADHD and was prescribed medication that has changed my life. AVOID Dr Caven at all costs. Not how a diagnosis should be done! Shame. Wasted 3 hours of testing for a incorrect diagnosis. I don’t have bipolar 1 at all. Shame on you Dr Caven.
