Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I always knew that I wanted to help people. When I went to nursing school, I quickly realized that I belonged in Women's Health and began to dream of becoming a Midwife someday. After spending some time as a Medical/Surgical nurse, and a Labor and Delivery nurse, I completed my Master's in Women's Health Nursing Practice and Nurse Midwifery. It is truly a gift to be able to work in a field that you love.What I want my patients to know about me:I am passionate about ensuring that all women have compassionate care and an understanding of their own health. It is incredibly important that patients feel heard and safe in their care.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Outside of work, I enjoy doing things with my family. I have a husband, two teenagers, and a few pets. We love being outdoors, cooking together, spending time with family and traveling.
