Dr. Elizabeth Robins Gerstner, MD

I went in for my physical and Dr. Gerstner spent almost the entire time, I mean over and over, telling (haranguing, actually) me about how I should get a colonoscopy. Also, when I said I had started a walking program, she flatly stated that was insufficient. Um, I thought doctors wanted us to walk? A little encouragement would have gone a long way! Also, she told my husband that no supplements help blood pressure (there are numerous studies to the contrary)- in sum, if you want a nice doctor who absolutely toes the western medical orthodoxy line and refuses to consider anything outside of what she was taught in medical school ( no outside study whatsoever, it seems) or perhaps influenced by pharma company reps, she is the doc for you!

As can be been be seen I thought Dr. Gerstner a most capable and fine physician. She is respectful, and competent in her follow up regarding issues that concern her patients. She is pleasant and lovely, and a serious physician.
