Dr. Elizabeth Costa Hamilton

I have never been in a more scary situation than I was right before going under this women’s scalpel . She came in to my room before surgery and started yelling at everyone. Then she started threatening me and yelling that she wasn’t going to perform the surgery. I was already with IV and had the anesthesiologist come in and speak to me with the kindest of words. She continued to threaten me and I was blindsided beyond belief. Then she started attacking my husband and my relationship. My husband had to take her into the hallway and tells her that she needed to show compassion and empathy and stop behaving that way. Everything started going in slow motion for me because I was so shocked and in a mind set that I was going into surgery and nervous and I really didn’t know what to think or do. Next thing I remember I was being wheeled into surgery by other people and I was put out . As a result of my surgery she cut my nerve in my leg and I will be going to have to deal with another… surgery because of it I’ve been unable to drive for almost 2 months and going past two months it will be before I will be able to. How this woman is the professor and is teaching our young people to perform as she does is beyond my understanding. What has Medicine become and how did she slip through the good Drs , without getting caught and stopped. if anyone sees the 4 choices I was given , at UT Southwestern Where I was put with this Dr un known to me , save yourself and say absolutely not. I’m usually not someone who writes reviews but I can’t imagine anyone else ever going through this pain I have been through.

Took a quick look told me there was nothing she could do and I had to find the proper surge in condo as she said there was no one that could repair it. Low personality and low communication skillset. Waste of time

Dr. Hamilton worked on my wife, and she was excellent. Now that I have an issue, I wish Dr. Hamilton comes back to Las Vegas!

My bowel ruptured on an airplane and I literally had an hour to live when I got to the hospital. Dr. Hamilton was the surgeon on call that night and she was the most amazing thing that could have walked into that room!! She not only saved my life but she was so loving to my family and is still taking care of me weeks later!!! Love her love her!!!

Dr. Hamilton removed my ruptured appendix in March. She was very friendly before the surgery and was very prompt to give updates to my friends and family as soon as the surgery was over. Her office was very cooperative in helping me get follow up appointments. She is very caring and I am very lucky to have had her as my surgeon.

My husband with admitted through the emergency room and Dr. Hamilton was the surgeon on duty. She was extremely caring and made both of us feel very comfortable. As we did not have a chance to "check-out" our doctor in advance, we were both quite upset, however, she put all of our fears to rest and we felt secure with her doing the surgery. Everything went well and just as she had described. If we need surgery in the future, we will certainly consult with her
