Dr. Elizabeth L Helfer, MD

Since I moved to NJ I have been going to Dr. Helfer. She is straight to the point and thorough. I like her staff although they have changed through the years but overall, I am in and out in a timely manner.

The first time I saw Dr. Helfer, she seemed great. Spent a lot of time with me, asked a lot of questions.The next visit I had to wait 20 minutes or so and then I was rushed through the appointment. My concerns were brushed off and it was very disappointing. I thought maybe she was having a bad day so scheduled a follow up appointment as usual.Well, it happened again. I was waiting for over 20 minutes and then rushed through my appointment. She spent maybe 10 minutes with me even though I brought up several concerns that were brushed off again. She offered no helpful information whatsoever and showed no interest in me. It made me feel invisible.I'm done with Dr. Helfer and moving on to a new endocrinologist. I think she has the medical knowledge but the bedside manner is atrocious and unpleasant.
