Dr. Elizabeth Joyce Herman, MD

Why would someone accept new patients when that person knew that they would be leaving that office soon? Does she have any consideration for those patients...at all? Clearly not. Shame on you, Dr. Herman

Dr. Herman has continued to show my family with care and concern. I trust her advise and treatment.

I have rarely met a doctor that was so committed to knowing what is going on with me and providing up to date advise. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr Herman is an excellent doctor. She does not fool around. She listens well and sets up a treatment plan. She does not do unnecessary testing and she does not put you on a medicine unless you really need it. I recommend her to everyone.

No proper testing. I scheduled an appointment specifically for a checkup. This is 100% covered by my insurance.. I verified at check in, with doctor and at check out. Received 130 dollar invoice for a new patient exam. I was informed that you must be an established patient before a physical. Maybe someone should have told me that the previous 4 times I inquired? During visit, nurse took vitals, doctor spent 5 minutes with me. Advised that I was perfectly healthy and no further testing was needed. I should return in 18 months. Not sure how she knew that. I guess her crystal ball was working that day. If this was a new patient exam, perhaps a follow up visit should have been scheduled for the actual checkup. I paid to have my vitals taken. Brilliant. I hope that 130 is worth losing a new patient and all future business. I’ll find a Dr. in private practice. No groups.

She is not proffesional. Always rushing. Had less knowledge about diognosis. Her manners with her patient is inappropriate. She should not practice medicine.

Was turned away because I wasn't "early enough" to my visit. I had been told to arrive 15 minutes early which I did but apparently I should have somehow known the call center told me the wrong time and have shown up 30 minutes early. Didn't matter that it was the office's screw-up and I'd requested time off work for the visit, they wouldn't see me.

She spends more time typing than actually talking to you. Also she does not verbalize to you what she is prescribing you, she just says that she's sending Rx to pharmacy. I had to ask her for the name and dose of my new meds.

After seeing such a bad rating I was hesitant to keep my appointment. However, I was VERY pleased with Dr Herman. She was pleasant and discussed any concerns. I don't know why she only received 1 star because the other reviewers do not explain their reasoning.
