Dr. Elizabeth Rodney Herz, MD

We have been with Dr Herz for about five years and have always found her to be a great physician who takes time to listen to our girls and us, as parents. I am so sorry that the two other parents writing the review below did not have good experiences, that isn't okay, but speaking for our family, we have had nothing but positive interaction with Dr. Herz. We are very happy to have her (and all of PAC docs) in our lives.

I have encountered challenging people in my lifetime, most of us can attest to that! I will say that the majority of the time I can respect their opinion, not take it too personally and find a way to communicate. This woman took it upon herself to hijack both of my children's physical appointments and turn them into very uncomfortable humiliating experiences for us, one of which I actually left in tears. She dove into a very sensitive, stressful ongoing health issue that she was not personally treating or was asked for assistance with and then proceeded to outright bully us about it. She seemed to have already formed a very negative opinion and insinuated that I had neglected to address it. It was very clear that her opinion was based on very little information if any. Although my child and I(at both visits) attempted to provide her with background information and a very detailed list of providers/services involved that was contrary to her rant, it was like she didn't hear anything we… said or didn't want to hear it. Her tone was downright mean and condescending. I will say again that we didn't ask her for assistance with it, we were there for a simple yearly physical. She amazingly enough also wasn't offering her help to us(she actually made it very clear she would not) and provided no referrals to obtain the help she felt we weren't getting(which we actually were in large amounts) to address the issue! I did however get double charged for both of the appointments like Nicole's review. I am not a review writer but having this woman be so cruel to our family when we were dealing with so much at the time really made me feel compelled to.

We really like Dr. Herz. She has a great demeanor and is very thurough with her diagnosis and infomration she gives. I would highly reccomend her or any of the other DRs in this office.

I have only been with this practice for maybe a year, but after today's appt, it's time for a change. I went to this dr. with a child suffering from migraines. I informed her of a history of migraines, and that all the OTC meds had failed to help. She advised we use ibuprofen. Thanks, since we had already said that didn't work....OK. This is also after being double charged for a yearly exam, because when she asked if there was any other information she should be aware of pertaining to my child, I informed her, in a very vague manner, of a past issue. After which she informed us that we should see a specialist, since she would not oversee any part of that diagnosis. She did not spend more than a couple minutes listening or responding, no diagnosis or prescription was given. Then a while later, I get a bill. She charged us for an entire additional visit because I answered her question. She never advised me or informed me that this was going to be considered another visit completely. I… consider this a very dishonest and disingenuous way of doing business. I don't need to stick around and see anymore.
