Dr. Elizabeth Lee King, MD

We requested a Dr. note from Dr. King to allow our daughter to wear a face shield in school. A face shield which is acceptable in every state and federal building in America. Simple request right? Instead the Dr. declined and had the gall to tell us to have our daughter seek therapy for her mask-wearing anxiety! Jaw-dropping! She rather our daughter be told she has a problem and all the psychological trauma that goes with then write a note that is within perfect reason. Her personal views have skewed her ability to provide adequate medicinal support. Run as far and as fast away as you can

Dr. King takes the time for her Patients. Friendly and very welcoming. Very educated and knowledgeable. Treats everyone equally.

She can be very rude.

We were unsure about our visit after leaving. The Doctor was pushy and asked for more information than we thought she needed about people other than our daughter who she was seeing. During the visit we tried to explain that we wanted to hold off giving our daughter more vaccines because she had a surgery scheduled and cannot be sick for it, we explained that we are not against vaccinating but just wanted to wait. She treated us as if we were stupid and talked down to us as if we were unfit to be parents. We made our displeasure know. Shortly after while we were trying to get things finalized for our daughters surgery we got a letter saying they would not see her any longer. I would tell anyone to stay away from this clinic and especially this doctor.

Got very pushy about vaccines on an infant when parents wanted to do some further research first.

Worst experience ever with a pediatrician. Didn't listen to a word I said. Was condescending about my decisions. Made a point to tell me that she didn't agree with my choices (delayed vaccines, extended nursing). I Was sharp and rude with my older daughter who was trying to say hi to her. She was 3 at the time and she gave her a very stern look and told her the appointme t was not for her and she needed to leave her alone. It was just a routine check up...left in tears and avoided the ped office like the plague until I found a new dr. I actively suggest friends and family NOT go to her.
