Dr Lapeyre impressed me in that she’s able to see patients and run a practice while making strides in her field. I’m very comfortable that she knows about the latest relevant studies. Love that she takes the time to explain the logic behind her recommendations. Prompt timing and easy scheduling in my experience.

Truly the worst doctor I have ever seen. Uncompassionate, accused me of not being aware of the current COVID-19 situation, didn't read my chart to see that I had seen an NP gynecologist before her visit (accused me of only seeing my GP about an issue I've been having). For your own sake, do not see her! There are many great doctors at Ochsner, she is clearly not one of them.

Dr Lapeyre herself is great - the problem is actually trying to schedule an appointment. Couldn't schedule online, the number provided on the website went to someone who said her calendar is "closed".... It took me three months, numerous calls and emails and one conversation with a rather sarcastic assistant who was more interested in blaming other people than in resolving the issue, but did me a "favor" by fitting me in for an appointment two months later. So wondering.....what on earth happens if you have something more urgent than an annual check up???

My husband and I was lucky enough to achieve a pregnancy on our own after previously having a baby thru IVF. When I contacted her that I was pregnant I asked to have progesterone and whatever labs drawn to make sure blood work showed that I could sustain my pregnancy. Also reminding her that last pregnacy was thru IVF. Was then told they don’t typically do those labs. Well a week later I miscarried because my progesterone was half of where it should have been. Highly disappointed for the fact that had it been done when I asked I could probably still be pregnant with my baby. Dr. Not recommended for someone with fertility issues.

Dr. LaPeyre is a wonderful doctor. She delivered 2 of my children-one when I was delivering while my husband was deployed in Afghanistan and she was so supportive& comforting. I had a horrific scar fm my first c-section that she was able to fix too. She is a great surgeon& very knowledgeable doctor. I strongly recommend her!

Long waiting time.No follow up.Difficult to contact.Didn't diagnose correctly.Had to followup by a different doctor.
