Dr. Elizabeth Lynn Loeb, MD

Dr Loeb was the worst doctor I ever encountered, and I am an old lady. Run as far and as fast as you can. While she was my doctor, she dismissed the results of a diagnostic test. I was concerned, though, and called another doctor who followed up and found that it was cancer. I informed Dr Loeb about the cancer diagnosis, and, while at an appointment where she was addressing all sorts of things that didn't pertain to me, I asked about the cancer and she told me, "Oh. I didn't know you have cancer." Indeed she did-because I told her at least once. In addition, she refused to prescribe more than 3 pills to combat the anxiety that came with the cancer diagnosis and treatment, not to mention her own dismissal of my symptoms and illness. Dr Loeb then misdiagnosed me with narcotic dependent illness (for the record, I still have medication from a back injury sustained over 10 years ago. Not exactly narcotic dependent behavior.) I was lucky that doctors from organizations besides Clinical… Associates prescribed appropriate medication Worst, though, was that for more than 10 days straight I called her office to try to get an appointment or a call back, sometimes more than once a day, in pain that got progressively worse. The office either did not answer or told me she was there and would call back. She never did. My husband finally drove me to the ED where it was found that a relatively benign infection had migrated to my spine. When I got out of the hospital after five days and returned to her office and asked about the neglect, she told me her home life had been "chaotic" during that time. Her main concern seems to be keeping her patients from dealing drugs. Seriously. She asked me when I asked for something to combat the pain (I have several drug allergies and was in pain for some time after this infection and home with IV lines) "How do I know you're not dealing these drugs?" She was SERIOUS. I called another doctor and never looked back. Run from this doctor.

If she moved out of the area or out of state I would start a savings fund to cover commuting!

I have used Dr. Loeb for many years. She has a great bed side manner. If you have concerns she take the time to listen and offer up testing as needed. Plus she has a great dry sense of humor.
