Dr. Elizabeth H B Mandell, MD

My first visit to Dr Mandell was very pleasant -- as pleasant as a pap smear and exam can be! She was on time, very professional, and extremely kind. She made sure she answered all of my questions and left space for me to talk and voice all of my concerns. She ensured my physical comfort as well. Dr Mandell is probably the best OBGYN I have ever been to.

Going to an obgyn has always been a not so good experience for myself but Dr Mandell is personable, she makes the experience of the visit more comfortable and she listens to you, I would highly recommend her to anyone

How could a visit to a gynecologist be pleasant? Appointments with Dr. Mandell are personal, warm and welcoming while addressing the important health issues that are required.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mandell. Even after moving out of state I still return to her and plan my exams based on visits home to Virginia. She is exceedingly prompt, efficient, and an expert in her field. Hands down the best doctor I've ever had (and not just OBGYNs--best of any doctor I've ever seen). Thank you Dr. Mandell!

I am SO thankful that I switched to Dr. Mandell. She listens, and cares about what you say. She is extremely professional, yet friendly. I am happy that she left the Univ. of Virginia Women's Center and went into practice for herself. I would give her only the highest recommendations. As a patient with a variety of issues and a variety of doctors, I can tell you she is the best doctor I have. When she left UVA to have her own practice, I did not go with her...but after a year, I knew I made a mistake and had to go back to her immediately. She cares about the whole person and not just gyn issues. She is not judgmental and makes her patients feel very comfortable. I highly recommend her!
