Dr. Elizabeth Mcbee Raynor, MD

I saw Dr Raynor for years when my MG was more or less under control with minimal medications. When my MG took a turn for the worse, she wasn't just unhelpful, she downright blocked me from getting proper treatment. At our last visit, I reported to her my MG had gotten so bad, I couldn't climb stairs, swallow any food or even breathe properly after 2pm, and she told me it was because I had anxiety. Yes, not being able to breathe properly because you are being under-treated for a serious condition WILL give you anxiety, but I needed my MG treated medically. She was so rude to me that visit but honestly, I'm so grateful she was! It finally prompted me to dump her, and get a proper (wonderful!) MG specialist who has since saved my life. She is probably brilliant with other conditions, but if you have MG-- run as fast as you can away from her!
