Where do I begin? HIPAA violations, very biased, inappropriate and self indulging… The report written and the suggestion made by Schockmel was shocking to say the least. More damage was done than anything and it came at a hefty price. The report Schockmel wrote was so ridiculous that the court refused to let it be used if we did end up going to trial. The judge actually apologized for it the report’s level of inaccuracies and contradictions.

Dr. Schockmel is an outstanding practitioner. Very thorough and helpful. Gets back very quickly. Works excellently with my other providers. Stays current on research. Bad reviews are from people who didn’t like her recommendations for custody but she will provide a recommendation for what is best for the children, not the parents. I would recommend her to anyone.

This women does not know anything regarding forensics or parental alienation. Save your children, money and your time. Do not use her. She does not do any due diligence in client cases and long helps parents attempting to alienate their children for retaliation.

i was worried when I read the other two reviews, but everybody says she's the best child custody evaluator there is. Even though her recommendations didn't go the way I hoped, if I'm being honest, I have to agree. Dr. Schockmel spent a long, long time with our kids, their father, and me. She listened to what everybody, including teachers, the kids' doctor, and even my therapist, had to say. Then she recommended a plan that really was best for the kids, not the parents. My ex and I are working together better than ever, and our children are much better. If you really want whats' BEST FOR THE CHILDREN, and not just to win, go to her. There's a reason so many judges will use only Dr. Schockmel.

Poor evaluation of the situation. Absolutely horrible outcome suggestions.

Could not see parental alienation if it slapped her in the face. Awful. Find anyone else she is not worth a single penny!
