Dr. Elizabeth Ann Strickland, MD

Dr. Strickland is very warm and has a great bedside manner. She is through and super knowledgeable. I appreciate all she does for me.

I had a hysterectomy. Assured it's the easiest most commonly done surgery. When I woke up I was told not to move due to extreme blood loss. Nurse said she nicked one blood vessel. I was not told what to expect like I would be dizzy and weak for a month. I began to see a large hard lump develop. It was horribly painful. When I went to see the doc about it she was dismissive saying she didn't know what it was but maybe it will go away. I would also mention that she didn't know who I was and that she performed surgery on me weeks ago. Long story but I am about to have my second corrective surgery. The first one had to be performed by a robotics thoracic surgeon. He let me read the surgery notes. She did not nick one blood vessel but 3. Because of this she screwed up my femoral nerve beyond repair. I had to have a peice of my nerve removed. I now have no feeling down my inner thigh, abdomen and top of public bone. At least it doesn't hurt all the time now. I'm very thankful someone… could help me. She left one ovary that was covered in cysts.She told me it was normal. I have exploding ones. I was very frustrated that it was left in. I had a CT scan before my nerve removal and was almost not allowed to leave the hospital. My ovary has cysts full of blood on it. Have been having scans every 6 weeks. They are tracking the growth. I have endometrial cycts. She told me she didn't know what I had but I didn't have endometriosis. Well looks like I do and I'm going to have another surgery to remove my ovary. This has been a truly horrible experience. I've lost so much time and money. Save yourself the heartache and see someone who is qualified and actually cares about your well being.

This woman is absolutely the worst medical professional I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. I scheduled with her to get a procedure done but it seemed that the moment she met me she had no intention of even listening to me. Ever time I answered a question it was met with snide remarks and "facts" that seemed to only serve the purpose of making me feel inferior. She repeatedly insulted me, undermined my rights to make decisions about my body and bombarded me with cruel comments until I was sobbing. After which she only stopped making her points until I agreed with her. If you value your own opinion or want to be listened to by your doctor, do not see this woman.

This MD was my second opinion after seeing another provider at another clinic. Dr. Strickland did not order unnecessary tests/procedures. She did what was needed and it was a quick, organized, and thoughtful process
