Dr. Elizabeth E Wagner, PhD

This Dr. is trained in Dialectical Behavior therapy. This requires the compassion but yet firmness that most Borderline personality clients need for recovery with a DBT therapist. I was suicidal and did not act in my own best interests. I was 50 years old ,but yet was emotionally two. Elizabeth will not go for standing by and watching self destruction! She will be the good parent! She guided me to a life worth living. I have not been suicidal in 10 years! It takes dedication trust and time on both parts! You can burn a therapist out too! Were all human beings.

I'm very sorry that I was referred to this practitioner, as seeing her has had dire consequences. After months of ineffective treatment and routinely being admitted more than 10 minutes late with no acknowledgement or apology, Dr. Wagner blew up at me when I became suicidally depressed. Instead of being compassionate and concerned, she was enraged. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you have published lots of academic papers if you don't have the compassion and humility to see a patient through their darkest times. If you can't do that, what is the purpose of therapy for the patient? Needless to say, I fired her and will not be seeking further treatment from any other practitioner. This woman kicked me while I was down and ripped my heart out, and the only thing she had to say for herself was, "I'm sorry you feel that way." Please for your own sake, do not put your well-being in this woman's hands.
