Dr. Elizabeth Yepez, MD

Dr Yepez is an aggressive doctor. She read my labs after her first time seeing me and was able to determine specific treatments to positively impact my quality of life. That aggressiveness plays out differently long term. Because of her quick ability to make determinations, she will also suggest very aggressive, life changing options for you without proper education, knowledge of your body, sufficient time or planning and this manner feels very impersonal and is not always the best decision for you individually but rather what she sees fit for most patients....in general. Additionally, if you are looking for a long term physician to build a relationship with, she is not this doctor either. Her approach is impersonal. If you check in with her between appts, she will be unavailable, dismissive towards any issues between appts (her messages on my chart were from someone else only saying she couldnt help) and will provide little to no advice until your appt which is often months away… based on availability. When i asked for help, advice and relief before an appt relating to female specific issues, getting a prescription refilled, i was told to call the general number and to speak with someone to get an appt with a primary care physician. When i expressed, my disappointment in this approach because my primary care doctor was not knowledgeable in the same way that Dr Yepez was about the female cycle, she had a Rush admin cancel the appt i had scheduled that I had on the books for months, saying she was no longer in the office on that day, leaving me feeling further stressed and unwell. Be careful when dealing with Dr Yepez. The reviews across many channels are accurate about her approach and manner. I wish i would have read them earlier before believing she was a longer term option for me.

smart, knowledgeable, gives you the facts and does a good job but attitude is very quick and dismissive. do not recommend to patients who are anxious and have a lot of questions.

I saw Dr. Yepez because my usual OB wasn't available. She clearly didn't read my chart and made assumptions that were not accurate. Even after correcting her, it was brought up again. With a high risk pregnancy, doctor appointments are usually important for reassurance and I left with none. I was made to feel like everything was my fault despite insisting that I've been doing what I can/am told to. I felt dismissed and it was later clear that was true. The appointment notes had inaccurate information on them because she apparently did not listen to or record my answers to her questions. I would not trust a doctor to make any sort of decisions on my medical care when they don't/won't read a chart or record accurate notes.

Had appointment scheduled for a month. I received email and/or text to confirm my appointment. I was checked in and went through preliminary appt with assistant. I was then told that Dr. Yepez was running late. Since I was about to get undressed and sit in a paper gown, I asked if they could find out how long. After a call I was informed she wasn’t coming in because they scheduled her to be on call for the hospital. She needs to manage her schedule better and notify patients.

Super nice doctor.... love her and I will recommend her for anybody who is looking for a caring doctor....

Wait4 hours , wait another 2 in the room forever sees you 5 minutes

Always seemed in a rush and performed the worst pap smear I ever had !! Was slightly bleeding afterwards....that never happened

don't know if these other reviews are talking about the same doctor or if they just had a bad day...dr. yepez has delivered 2 of my children and i couldn't have been happier with her care. there is at times a wait but she always apologizes and is respectful of my time. she does her best to educate everyone on their health and bodies and this is usually why there is a wait. she is very considerate and takes her time to explain difficult issues. will continue to see her for my gyne needs

i would without a doubt recommend dr. yepez to anyone and everyone. she is so sweet, caring and professional. she delivered my second daughter and i knew baby and i were in good hands.

Some of the staff is rude and the amount of time it took for a nurse to return my calls (and the response was often to "wait and see" in response to my questions) wasn't acceptable. Also, I recently suffered a miscarriage, and after a day of waiting for the office to call me back before they saw me, the doctor came in, spoke with me for a minute or two, and seemed like she was annoyed I was added to the end of her day. I was upset, and she had zero compassion. When I asked her about getting pregnancy again, she was very condescending. There was also an issue with lab work that I was not notified about until I called to inquire about it two weeks later. Needless to say, I started looking for a new doctor the same day.
