Ellen Mahoney, MD

Hours seem to be limited at this office. They begin at 9 AM which, take lunch break at 12-1, and then many times they are not available to take appointments in the afternoon because staff is either part time on some days or they are booked up.

Dr. Mahoney is the best Pediatrician in the area. She never makes me feel like an over bearing new mom, even though sometimes I can be. She alleviates my worries. She is kind to my daughter and treats her with a gentle hand.

Dr. Mahoney is an amazing pediatrician. We followed her from another practice to her current Wayland office because her knowledge, accessibility and bedside manner are so fantastic. Not only does she care for the physical health of our children but she goes to extra mile to ensure their emotional well-being is looked after as well. She works with our children on their level, explaining what they can handle and smoothing over any concerns they may have. Dr. Mahoney is honest with the children in her care and follows up with parents to ensure treatment is working as intended. We consider ourselves very luck to have found Dr. Mahoney when our children were born. The office staff and nurses are amazing as well.

Dr Ellen Mahoney is a fantastic physician - caring, dedicated, intelligent, thoughtful. She has been very accessible to us over many months of difficult health issues and has helped us get through this trying time! Has a great rapport with our daughter, spends a lot of time with us in visits (and we never feel rushed) and communicates very well with us (parents) as well. We would follow her anywhere! WE are so appreciative of her terrific care. We recommend her without reservations - wholeheartedly!

I thought Dr. Mahoney was professional, helpful and attentive. She always spent a good amount of time with me and my daughter. I would recommend her to anyone.

Very personable and also direct. She answers all of our questions, and if I have a question that I call in, she answers that day. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.
