Dr. Ellen Redd Melton, MD

My grandma referred her after I had my daughter so that’s the only reason I went with her but I am black and I will never choose a black doctor again She gave me the worst experience of my life she is so unprofessional and rude my daughter had a doctor appointment today and her Medicaid was messed up and I was not aware she was yelling at me telling me that I need to be on top of my child’s Medicaid and running around the hallways telling all the staff that she was waiting on me to see what was wrong with my Medicaid and also rushing me , she is always mad and acts like seeing our kids is an inconvenience for her,worst doctor I’ve ever came in contact with I don’t ever make reviews on people but her behavior is so unprofessional

Dr. Melton always does a thorough exam of my children. She is very patient with my children and spends a great amount of time ensuring that parent and child are well taken care of. She is not afraid to personally call you and discuss lab results. She has even personally called me just to check on my child. She truly cares about the well being of my children. She is a staple to the health of my children.

She was very patient with me I'm going to miss her being my doctor

As a soon to be single parent, I sought out Dr. Melton because of her reputation at the hospital for which I worked. Two days after birth we saw her for jaundice. One month after my son's birth we were in her office for routine check-up, and two hours later we met her in the emergency room which was followed by a two day stay for reflux pneumonia. She was clam, cool, collected, and reassuring, but thorough, checking for seizures. The first two years of his life we were in and out with reflux issues, medication adjustments, ear infections, and even chicken pox at six months of age! But the blue-faced arrival at the hospital at one month old was the worst for me as a new mom, and I'll never forget her kindness and reassurance that I could do this. Now he's a college senior. Thanks, Dr. Melton. You're the best.

Dr. Melton is awesome! Shes caring, wonderful, and always going above and beyond for her patients.

I wish she could be my doctor as well as my son's doctor! She is wonderful!!!
