Dr. Elliot B Duboys, MD

this is one surgeon that knows what he is doing, no questions asked. Dr. Duboys has completed multiple procedures on me and is simply experienced. i have never had complications, results have been better than ever expected and i can't even imagine what would have been if it weren't for him. plain and simple, he's the best!

Used a groupon to get botox, which I've had a dozen times from my dermatologist (his prices went to nearly double so I wanted to try someone else). Dr Duboys is SUPER punctual. I waited for about 5 mins in the lobby, and then another 5-7 in the actual room. He asked me what I was looking to achieve so I said 'well, I've had it before and I get it here, between my eyebrows, and then....' He cut me off and said 'I'm not interested in what you normally get, I'm interested in what you want to achieve' So I said 'to get rid of the lines between my eyes, and then to get a nice brow lift' I actually like the brow lift much more than the softening of the lines between my brows, and this is pretty much the only reason why I get it. He explained he would be putting the botox under my eyes, in the outer corners where crows feet are normally to get the eyebrow lift. I told him I am used to getting the eyebrow lift done with the injections above my eye brows. He then schooled me on the… anatomy of the muscles around the eyes and explained how the brow lift is better by doing it with the injection near the crows feet area instead. After nearly a week, I still had slight movement in between my brows (I am used to having almost no movement), and that eyebrow lift should have happened by now. I was set to go on vacation, and was hoping for it to kick in before I left, so I called to see if I can come back bc I wasn't happy. The nurse asked the doctor and he thought it best to wait until I came back. So 3 weeks after the initial treatment, I went back. I think 3 weeks is more than enough time to see the results I wanted, and to get what I paid for (I paid for 2 areas and feel like I only received one). He was very nice the second time and again explained to me how the muscles work and was very adamant that since he is a plastic surgeon, he would NOT put the botox above my eyebrows bc it can lead to the brow drooping. He said no board certified plastic surgeon would do that and he would again put it where the crows feet would be, and said something like the first time I came in he didn't give me the full dosage. Now, I'm not sure what the full dosage is but if I paid for it then shouldn't I get all of it? HOWEVER....I'm sure it is best to do a little first and then put more in if you don't see what you want. You can't take it out once its in. Well, it's nearly a week later and I'm still not seeing an eyebrow lift. There is a small lift in the center but I told him I like it lifted on the ends. He said he didn't want me walking around like Jack Nicholson, but I kinda like a little Jack. All in all....he just didn't give me what I want. I read other reviews that he might be diluting the botox, so that might be why I'm not seeing the result I want, but I don't want to accuse the guy of any wrongdoing. Bottom line...if you are used to getting botox in the areas he will only do, then go see him. If not, stick to what works for you.

I can not praise Dr. Elliot Duboys enough ! I am a repeat patient. I was referred by my personal physician, after being so pleased four years ago, & I also had recommend tDr. Duboys to a girlfriend of mine who had two AMAZING procedures by him. I had some breathing problems & was not happy with my nose, once again not only can I breathe freely I look AMAZING !!!! Dr. Duboys is not a risk taker, nor does he make you appear plastic.He brings out the most beautiful, natural you !

I was seen by Dr Duboys in St. Josephs Hospital on Sunday. My Rottweiler bit me in the face-nose and lip to be more specific. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Duboys on call that day. I didn't think my lip would go back together-it was a mess! Although painful, it sure looks good after just a few days. I sent him an email after my follow up visit along with a photo of my lip-I was concerned if I was taking care of it properly. Well, he actually EMAILED ME BACK! This is one of those doctors that takes an interest in his patients and can be somewhat entertaining at the same time. I can't give him and his staff enough praise.

Had traumatic incident and was referred to this Dr. All I can say is for me to come on here, find a place to write a review of this nature really means this dr. made a strong impression on me.First off, there's the $$$$.He doesn't take any insurance and everyone takes my insurance and before he even sees you it's pay up front for a consult. A consult. This was not plastic surgery he was being asked about. He was asked to look at some stitches!!Next off , I "assume" (never assume) that he knows his business but for MY purpose, he was so arrogant and argumentative and controlling.I wouldn't go back to see him if he was the only dr. within 100 miles. How does his head fit through the door? Paid/Co-pay: $200
