Dr. Elliot Ira Kaplan, MD

Dr. Kaplan became my daughter's pediatrician when she was born 19 years ago, and is now my 1-year-old son's pediatrician. He is kind, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. He has a very sweet disposition, and is always smiling and friendly. He is always able to diagnose the problem and provide the right treatment. The Physician's Assistants and other doctors in the office are all very professional, knowledgable and kind as well. Appointment times for physicals need to be made quite far in advance, but the office has walk-in hours every morning for colds, etc. and they will fit you in if your child is sick. Dr. Kaplan once came into the office on his day off because my daughter needed to have a physical before going to camp. I felt bad, but he was very nice about it and did not act "put out" in any way. I always receive follow-up calls from his office after my children have visited the office or if I have contacted them regarding a problem. Some of… the office staff seem short at times, but I think they are just very busy. I am much more concerned about the doctors and PA's being knowledgable, respectful and responsive, and kind, which they all are.
