Dr. Elliot Lawrence Korn, MD

Please read if you are a new patient or considering choosing Dr. Korn as your new ophthalmologist! This was a first visit. At first he seemed nice but there was something very off about the visit. He spent a great deal of time talking about himself, his degree in nutrition, a book he wrote and the insurance “game.” He said noticed a hair in my eye and removed it. Imagine my surprise when he charged me $180 for removal. My gut was I didn’t trust him, now I know why.

Insisted on doing a 2nd biopsy despite 1st one being all clear/no indication of malignancy; but I refused. After 3 ineffective visits, I figured out and healed myself...then HE - very arrogantly - took credit. I asked specifically about cost prior to scheduling and at the end of every appointment. Told at the end of each appointment that I was paid in full. They are now bullying me into paying 30% additional on $800 of charges they and their 3rd party vendor manifested months after-the-fact.

He did blepharoplasty on both eyes at two different visits. First eye lid surgery took about 45 minutes and the results were great. The second surgery took about 15 minutes and the results were less than acceptable. Within weeks the second surgery was failing and was drooping . When aske about it he blamed me for the results. I had taken the same number of days off and had iced the eyes the same. I'm now having a second blepharoplasty from another surgeon. When the second surgeon looked at the scarring he indicated that the incisions were not even aligned.

How anyone could give this man a five star is beyond me. He is HORRIBLE in all ways. NO professionalism in all ways.

Very caring and knowledgeable re: eye problems. Been seeing him for over 20yr and I totally trust him. He is the best!

Dr Korn is simply the best in his field

by going to someone else. This guy will do a meet and greet and schedule you again for the actual refraction which is the quickest I've ever experienced. Assembly line of older, out-of-state patients, I hope are being well served but wouldn't count on it.

I have been with this Dr. for years. He is a Dr that is straight to the point but very nice. I would not go to any other

Dr. Korn and his staff are wonderfully professional as well and caring and considerate. We live out of town and they always accommodate us to the best of their ability. Dr. Korn is excellent in every way.

Dr. Korn has been my doctor since I was 16. I am now 45 and not once has he ever been anything but a caring physician. Even after I got Lasik which he told me he wouldn't do I still continue to see him annually for my visits. I have the utmost respect for this doctor
