Dr. Elliot Michael Reisman, MD

Took my infant son and patient and took nothing for granted he was thorough and prompt with visits.

I took my boys 10 and 14 to see Dr. Reisman regarding an issue and without going into too much detail, Dr. Reisman was extremely helpful and explained things to my boys very matter of factly. He made a recommendation that seemed very fair and honest, and it was in favor of an option that netted this man $0.00 (zero dollars). In a day and age when I think some doctors - or office managers - only care about earning as much money as possible, that's unheard of. I'm a single mom and he helped explain things to my boys in a way that educated them and he never made them feel weird or uncomfortable, and yes they were very nervous before the visit. His expertise in this field is obvious. If you are going to trust a doctor with something so important, then I would select one that knows what the heck they are doing over seeking out other characteristics. The office staff was kind and courteous, the office was clean, only a little hard to find the parking garage in St. Pete.

This condition is extremely rare, yet Dr. Reisman pretended to know all about it. I very much regret allowing him to touch our son without a lot more research. Scar tissue does not grow, and usually this condition is associated with life-long incontinence, but apparently he did not know this. He would NEVER speak on the phone with me after the surgery, and that was before I learned what I know know. When we did come for a visit, he said everything was fine. But it was not.
