Dr. Timothy Anton Weber, MD

One of the things I like about Dr. Weber, more than his professionalism and knowledge level, is his rye sense of humor. He truely excells in bedside manner, anwers everything and anything you might ask him of your medical issues and truely makes you feel like you're in the bes of hands. I have unfornately needed his services twice (welcome to being a male over 60) and twice he has performed the operation efficiently and effectively. Follow on was right on target on the part of his staff as as well as himself. He is truely the urologist of choise in greater Tampa area. He should probably get six stars on a scale that only goes up to five.

Dr. Weber is hands down one of the best doctors in the Tampa area. I was pregnant with multiple kidney stones. I went to St. Joseph’s North after multiple days of constant pain. Dr. Weber was the urologist on call that evening. Remind you that I was pregnant and worried more about the baby than my pain. Dr. Weber is very direct, which some people cannot handle. This is what I liked best about him. I’m a tell me our best option kinda gal. He did just that. He recommended that we put in a stent until I deliver. Boy did that stent save me from a lot of pain. After the stent was in for multiple weeks, we had to replace it and put another one in. Now I went under anesthesia for both of these procedures and Dr. Weber’s beside manner is great! Nervous about the baby, he put me at ease everytime. I delivered the baby at St. Joseph’s North. Dr. Weber came up and congratulated my husband and I. Shortly after having the baby, it was time to remove the stones. I went with a in… office procedure. Dr. Weber again made me very comfortable with the procedure but was very direct. He let me know that if the lithotripsy didn’t want work with the size of my stones (1cm) we would have to try again or cut into my back to remove it. Dr. Weber crushed the stones the first try!! He is very good at what he does. Dr. Weber is my urologist until he retires! I also like that he’s a veteran! Thank you for your service Dr. Weber!!

Very High new patient fee. They make you call the insurance company yourself if you have issues with anything. I never had to do that. Definitely won't go out of the way for you, except to run your credit card.

I have to agree with a couple of the reviewers. He does speak is mind, that part is ok but sometimes he is downright rude about it and at other times is the nicest guy you could meet. The one thing I don't appreciate is that he always seems to question your truthfulness even when it's in your medical records. Oh that's right, they never made it into your records. Medical records I faxed and also hand deliver seem to have disappeared. As a surgeon he seems to be top notch but he needs to lose some of the attitude those days when he is irritable.

I think the guy that wrote the previus review is wrong and Im willing to bet he is the rude and moron person. Dr Weber did surgery on my husband and he always gave us the choose, he was very clear about his dinogse. He is a good surgeon and has very good maners. Thank you Dr Weber. God bless you

I had a situation that needed an extensive surgical procedure. Dr. Weber went over different options and asked a lot of questions to make sure he was choosing the right procedure for my situation. I felt he really thought it through before proceeding. (I had visited another urologist who very quickly said I should have a different procedure without even testing me.) The surgery went great and Dr. Weber was thorough and careful with follow up appts. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Weber is fantastic. The nurses are great. The non-clinical staff -- especially scheduling -- is horrible. If you manage to speak to someone, they are rude and condescending.
