i am more than happy and gracefull with doctor wilcox.

0 stars in all fields staff is very ignorant unprofessional and rude. Basically as ghetto as you can be which I'm no stranger to based on the area in which I live in but to be treated that way by the actual physician was absolutely beyond my belief. Had appt on a Tuesday Left with my meds electronically sent to pharmacy & a note to return to work Wednesday. The pharmacy let me know the database was down & to get a paper script. As terrible as I'm already feeling I took off work to go back to the Doctor which is always an all-day event per staff request during the call I made to the office advising I need scripts & extended note for work. When I arrive I'm immediately scrolled by the Secretary Maria who States I can't keep coming to extend notes, I hadn't been there since 2014, I reminded her of that but I must wait to see the doctor, which I'm fine with but requested another copay. Per my insurance policy I only pay copay once within 7 days of seeing the same doc for same issue. New… appt was not even required in my situation, it's beyond my control of the pharmacy malfunction. I explained my insurance policy & had my provider on the phone for verification. Maria called me to the exam room stating they will not collect another copay. Whatever story was told to the doctor had him come into m exam room once again scrolling me on how I have nerve refusing to pay for his services. After I allowed him to make a fool of himself I explained the facts. He quickly proceeds to fill out requested paperwork. I informed him Maria is cause enough to make me not want to come back, but because of his failed approach as physician of his middle age is the real reason I will never returned & file as many formal complaints via state board & other forums as possible. To top it all off as I approach the staff to make a legally required copy of my note for work, a woman who called herself the office mng takes the note from my hand and proceeds to scolled me now for a 3th time/3person saying if I have a problem with any of her "girls" talk to her about it. I simply stated there is not a problem I spoke with doctor & clarified the miscommunication due to his incoherent staff. This office mng continued to process into further argument as I immediately kindly asked for her for the copies I want to be on my as I'm ill, the woman still continue to talk, I again repeated myself and again she was talking not making copies. The one and only pleasant staff member seen me, I asked her to get Dr. Wilcox as the office mg was refusing to make copies. Once she saw the lady getting the doctor she walked right over to make copies while calling b***h in Spanish thinking I don't understand, but guess what I'm bilingual! I quickly took want I needed to get out of there as fast as possible. With full intention to add to my complaint. I saw no point in speaking with the just as ghetto doctor. As I was heading out the door the office mng asked me to use a side entrance/exit & not pass thru the office floor. I was shocked especially since this is not a door/Hall way used for the Doctor practice he is renting. I was not irate in anyway or use of profanity even if I wanted to be I was clearly too I'll to even want defend myself. In a way they are lucky because I could have made a very public eyewitness scene or( i now realizevi should have recorded the entire experience with my phone butvwho going to think this will happen atvthe doctors.) which would have resulted in immediate all staff termination. And if my complaints to the state medical board cause termination I feel no sympathy. I have several friends/family/co-workers that see Dr. Wilcox for many years but now after hearing my experience they will not be returning. In a non related issue while I was waiting to been by doctor I heard him telling the patient in the next room quoted "what are you doing here, you come to see the wrong doctor, you must not understand what you were being referred to due not speaking English well... The patient said no I understand you, where I'm supposed to be and was given your name as reference from other doctor. Dr. Wilcox quickly responded OK you are done hear some one who speak your language will have to help you find what you need. The lady had an accent but spoke better English the the staff and also Dr. Wilcox who has a very accent. So he has never making such statements. I can't believe how he has gotten away with this unprofessionalism for so long. It is unfortunate due to living in a very muli culture county most will just do what they are told not have the knowledge between right and wrong and basic civil rights.

I was scared of going to the doctors before. i have been going to him since i was 18years old and now i am 22. He makes you feel comfortable. the staff is super friendly. I will never switch doctors. i dont have insurance, i find his rate very reasonable. If you need a good doctor go to him.

I am so happy to have been assigned to him by my HMO. I am very pleased.

I went to Dr. Wilcox since my insurance added him as my PCP. At first, I was hesitant since I wanted to choose my own doctor, but I was pleasantly surprised after meeting with him!! He was thorough and very courteous. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Regretfully, DR. Wilcox failed to remove 2 of the 9 stitches that were the reason for my visit. My wife had to finish the job as, having waited almost 2 hours (!) on the first visit, couldn't afford another long wait.

I love this Dr. He spend time with me and make me feel very confortable, He talks to you listen to you and explain to you in a exellent manner. Take most of insurance and the staff assit you with anything you need. I'm very please with his services and I won't change my dr.
