Dr. Elmer Guillermo Pinzon, MD

I have respect for Dr. Pinzon 's expertise in his field. He may be a bit curt. But I found him helpful in relieving my back pain. Now will be concentrating on my neck. Highly recommend him!. Just wish he would play something besides classical music in his procedure room. ??

Worst experience ever!! First visit was decent but second visit just went down hill! I had injections in his office! Absolutely horrible experience! He yelled at his nurse the entire time! My body was absolutely shaking all over after he finished! 3 rd visit I waited 2 hrs to be talked to for 2 minutes! His nurse apologized for the terrible experience! I will never return!!

I have seen Dr. Pinzon twice. First appt to meet him and discuss the treatment. Yes, people are correct, he is very brisk, just the facts guy. But I went in yesterday for my injections. A much more relaxed person and an excellent physician. Do you want someone who is your buddy but awful doctor? Or someone who doesn't want to waste his time talking and has excellent results. I will take the later. His nurse/wife tries really hard to he understanding and pleasant. Have another appt soon.

I waited over 4 hours before being seen while hearing Dr Pinzon yelling at his nurse(wife) then made her come in and apologize to me while taking down to her and me. He talks down to other staff members at other facilities this way as well. He comes in late all the time as patients have waited for several hours. They also make up lies as they go when they mess up or pass the blame on one another. I over heard him tell his nurse (wife) when she was trying to setup a follow up video call with me and he rudely and arrogantly yelled that he didn’t want to speak to me or anyone else because it was 4:30. Nurse said I would be talking to her then and said she would call me right back but never did. The lady at front desk said he only had two patients that day and actually came in almost 4 hours late with no previous engagements so he and this office cares nothing for their patients.

I was made to wait in the exam room for 2.5 hours. His nurse is his wife and he is verbally abusive to her. He yelled at her loud enough for the office to hear. He yelled at me, didn't allow me to answer his questions before he rudely interrupted and went on to the next question. He's very disrespectful. I confronted his wife about how abusive he is to her and she just hung her head. I was sick to my stomach because of how he treated her and how he treated me. I will never allow him to touch my body.

I live with a terrible back! I've had back surgery and was injured 9 months later in a car accident and re-herniated the same disc. I do not take any drugs, and do not want to take any. However, in order to function, I need injections and epidurals. I was recommended to this doctor by my primary care physician. Boy do I regret the time I spent seeing him. His is very rude, and does not value you as a patient. I was treated very disrespectfully and both time I had to have procedures (because he wouldn't do them at the same time) I waited at the outpatient surgery center for HOURS before he even arrived. I have a feeling that is why he is no longer using FT Sanders OP. The staff there didn't like him either. I have requested my medical records several times, both in person and over the phone and have given written consent to send them to me. I have yet to receive them. I need them in order to get a new doctor. The last time I went to the office to sign a release he was throwing charts… across the room. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone!

Never on time, treats patients like cattle, staff is terrible and messes up schedules and will leave you laying in pain for hours without proper help.

His office staff was very efficient. Dr . Pinion, is a type of doctor who is direct to the point . He wants to get you well and back to your life . I also like that he doesn’t hand out pain scripts. I feel those are just masking your issues and for some just adding another problem. I def understand they are are needed in some cases. They first app he already gave me hope of being able to get my life back . Then the next week I was set for a procedure. I was very nervous and his surgical staff were the most sweet and caring I have ever encountered. I feel hopeful and blessed to have been referred to Dr . Pizion

I have suffered for far too many years with chronic low back pain. Surgery, narcotic chronic pain management, and an injection at one point several years ago under conscious sedation. I can not reverse the issues of the mechanical problems of my back due to idiopathic osteoporosis. I finally listened to my daughter and saw Dr. Pinzon. I have not been this hopeful of reaching my maximum functioning in almost 10 years. I have been a nurse for over 30+ years, now retired but sooner than I expected or wanted. I never recommend choosing a physician because you like them or like what they tell you need. Always choose a physician that can help alleviate your problems or make them more tolerable and increase your quality of life. I believe I have found that physician in Dr. Pinzon.
