Listens well, asks follow-up questions after the fact, then delivers with confidence. Dr. Kouroupos has restored my faith in visiting "your PC physician" on a bi-annual basis, regardless of age or wellness at the time.

Great doctor! Informative, thorough , insightful, answered all my questions. The staff very polite and helpful. Great experience all around.

Had a 1:10 appointment which I asked for the earliest. After showing up and sitting around for an hour ask secretary why am I still waiting was told first doctor was running late am that they had earlier appointments in bayside that start at 12 in bayside... last time I come here!!!

Dr. Koroupos is the worst possible gastroenterologist. His own office is a mess and disorganized. He did an Endoscopy and then gave me the results when I was recovering from the anesthesia. I could barely understand. I told him that I have Delayed Sleep Disorder and he dismissed it and led me to feel like I was making the whole thing up. This in and of itself shows that he is not up to date on the latest medical information. The prep he gave for my wife for a colonoscopy washed the meds she’s on right out of her body. She has End Stage Renal Disease. It took her two weeks to recover. He didn’t get all the polyps on the first try so he had to go in again about a month later with the same effects. There are much better ways to do this that are more comfortable for the patient. In NYC where doctors are a dime a dozen do not hesitate to go somewhere else.

I know women today can be very nasty so I wonder if they didn't use a dirty mouth and he started putting them down. Some men go too far, but to be honest, I as a woman have issues with some woman, nonetheless what a man can accept

This is the worst doctor in the history of medicine. The front desk receptionists are as rude as the doctor, he is an old fashion DR, with a very bad attitude, my advice for any one visiting him to look for someone with better knowledge and a friendly smile to his patients, not asking him u must pay ur copayment for me to see u after a 10 visit seeing him. He was obnoxious, rude, ignorant, dismissive and the most offensively nasty individual I have ever encountered in the medical profession, WaW. plus on top of that i don't see him as a professional DR , plus the waiting time don't ask.......:( and if u dont believe me find out for yourself and u will see what im talking about. This guy talks to you like you are an idiot or a hypochrondriac - especially if you are a woman. A thoroughly unpleasant man.

The rudest, bad mannered, dismissive, disinterested and obnoxious person I have ever encountered in the medical profession. His staff are no better. Take the advice of someone who immediately removed him from my plan and called my insurance to complain. Never experienced anything as bad.

He will make you feel comfortable even with as awkward a proceedure as a Colonoscopy.
