I have tried numerous times to have the Dr write a prescription for a new CPAP machine but he does not respond. His staff is confused and no one there has helped me through the process. They just want me to go away. I have decades of experience with Westmed doctors and have had great experiences. This one is the worst. No care or empathy.

Dr. does not return calls. On-call is not a pulmonologist. Westmed is a disaster! You have to speak to people in North Carolina in order to have messages sent to the office, who sometimes calls back and sometimes doesn't. They are rude and impertinent. The doctor does not always call back.

Dr. Wurm has been amazing in his care of a family member currently in White Plains Hospital. The time and attention he has given to all of us during this time has made an extremely difficult situation easier to bear.

My mom has been struggling with Pulmonary Fibrosis now for about two years...we have seen the best of the best...only to find out that the 'best of the best' wasn't really true. We were lucky to find Dr. Wurm. He has made my mom comfortable and his bedside manner is beyond great. He is respectful to her (many doctors speak down to the elderly) and his is willing to answer questions from all my siblings (all six of us!). He is on top of all of the newest drugs...is easily reachable and ALWAYS, ALWAYS spends time listening and answering questions we have. He is amazing and we cannot say enough good things about his expertise. Finally, we have found the best of the best in Dr. Wurm.
