Dr. Ember Lee Ewings, MD

After consult with Dr. Ewings when she was at Marshfield Clinic, I consulted for a referred medically necessary procedure. My insurance covered through Marshfield Clinic, but her RUDE nurse insisted I needed a prior auth. I got the runaround for 2 weeks only to be told the auth was denied. I consulted another local plastic surgeon. His office staff was wonderful & within 24 hrs, I had the authorization and surgery within 3 weeks. Because she appeared so caring, and her nurse wouldn't let me talk to her to discuss, I felt Dr Ewings was in the dark about it. I called and scheduled a consultation at her new clinic with a 3-month wait for a procedure we had previously discussed that she explained she had done multiple times. Days before my appointment was scheduled, I was called by office staff telling me she decided she wasn't going to do that procedure anymore. I was left to start all over with my search again with 3 months wasted .... Trust in this practice is gone.

Dr Ewings is amazing! She is not only easy to talk to, enthusiastic about any procedure she is doing, but she puts her patients first. She did my surgery on Thursday and I could not be happier with the outcome. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering plastic surgery!
