Dr. Emily Kiteve Chin, MD

Dr Chin seems thorough enough BUT her med assts are bottom of the barrel. Was in for my first visit, was supposed to get a pneumonia shot and received the WRONG shot!! I was so mad I think my head spun around. Bathrooms were FILTHY

I would recommend Dr. Chin to all my family and friends. She is very down to earth and really gets it. The staff in her office are very accommodating and I appreciate how easy they make it to see Dr. Chin!

I've been seeing Dr. Chin for years. I always recommend her to everyone. She's the most personable and professional doctor I have ever met.

Excellent doctor...takes ample time and always listens to my concerns. I never felt rushed. Dr. Chin is very sympathetic and a very knowledgeable doctor.

I hate this doctor's office. They have successfully messed up my prescriptions EVERY SINGLE TIME I have visited them--so if you take important medications daily DO NOT rely on these people. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they have a bad electronic system rather than incompetent workers. Most recently, I was having severe neck pain from a work-related incident and I traveled 45 minutes to Emily Chin's office in Beverly hoping for some help. Obviously, this took a lot out of me--the car ride was absolutely excruciating, but I felt that it was worth it if I wanted to get the medicine I needed. During my visit I was prescribed 800 mg tablets of ibuprofen (worthless) and a muscle relaxer (what I really needed). By the time I arrived home, I sent my boyfriend to the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions. Much to my dismay, he came home empty handed--the office had only sent out a prescription for ibuprofen (again, worthless). By this time, the office was closed so… we called the on-call staff hoping that they could fix the problem since it was on their end. Unfortunately, the on-call staff "cannot prescribe medication no matter what." So there I am, completely bedridden, just trying to make somebody fix a simple mistake, and NOBODY can help me because it is after hours. I'm sitting there bawling my eyes out and my boyfriend calls the on-call staff again, literally BEGGING them to help me. Finally, a nice gentleman admitted that this sort of thing happens very frequently (and I know, it had already happened to me several times) at Emily Chin's office, and he agreed to put me through as a pain management request, so that somebody would help me... or at least call me back. A little while later, I got a call from Emily Chin herself. And guess what? She did NOTHING. She just said she was sorry and that I should go to an ER if I wanted help, regardless of the fact that it was a mistake on her end. So I suffered through the night and tried again in the morning. I called to have them send my prescription in and once again they sent out a prescription for 800 mg tablets of ibuprofen to the WRONG place. It's actually amazing how flawed their system is. If they have this many issues with prescriptions, they should really rethink the policies they have with their on-call staff. This incident was the main reason that I changed my PCP. I seriously hope nobody ever has to go through what I went through. It's really hard to listen to a doctor say they "can't help you" when you are at your absolute worst.

Worst experience, would never choose this doctor again. She did not care about my general well being, and never diagnosed correctly. Was always in a rush to get me out and never returned calls.

Emily is a great Dr. but she needs to reevaluate her M/A's They horribly rude and have irritated me to the point of searching for a new Dr. My girlfriend works at a Dr.'s office doing exactly the same work and also is (was) a patient, and she feels exactly the same way. Who wants to go to a Dr. that when you walk in ur instantly upset and not in the mindset to deal with the issues that your having

I have found Dr. Chin to be both personable and knowledgable. I have recommended her to my friends. I also like the other staff in the office.

HORRIBLE Doctor! Not one sympathetic bone in her entire body! I don't understand why people like her become doctors! She was in such a rush to get me out of there and spoke to me like I was stupid... I could've gotten better care at the local cvs, she told me nothing I didn't already know! The least caring Dr I have ever come across!

thank you for being there every time i need you and returnig my call like i am your only patient i am really impressed with the way you are really concerened about my well being and spending time to answer my carzy question it mean a lot that i'm not just talking to a person that has a job as a doctor but cares thank you again you deserve 10 stars
