Dr. Emily Beth Goldenberg, MD

I have had several surgeries and have had several various anesthesiologists, however none with a worse bedside manner ever. By the time this young woman had partially finished questioning me, with my wife at my side, we both were ready to leave the Keck Medical Center without the surgery being complete. With her more than poor attitude and complete lack of what myself as the patient is going thru minutes before a surgery she has absolutely had my wife in tears, and myself wondering what the heck I was getting myself into. I literally was pulling the tape of my arm where they inserted the needle for the surgery when my Doctor was summoned and he put an end to the issue immediately. Dr. Goldenberg may very well be a competent in her technical skills as an anesthesiologist in her field, however this does not negate her tremendous lack of compassion and her complete lack of any bedside manner. She had both my wife and myself panicked to the point as I repeat that I was seconds from getting… up and walking out of the hospital.
