Dr. Emily Hanson, DO

Wonderful doctor, who takes time to listen, and has been a lifesaver for my mother. She is attentive, listens, and takes time to review all possible options. She gives those options, then to the family to make informed decisions. We are grateful for you, Dr. Emily Hanson.

Ive watched her neglect my aunt and almost let her die from the neglect. My neigbor was also her patient and died the day after a visit with her. She shouldnt be allowed to practice medicine and I'm filing a complaint with the illinois board of medicine. She should stick with treating colds only.

Always pays attention to details

I feel like Dr Hanson doesn't fix anything she just continues to put bandaids on them. Instead of trying to find the root of the problem..theres a pill for that! I am so disgruntled and disheartened when I see my family who goes to her constantly be given another pill! Drug tests? Since when?? Dr Hanson is a wonderful person, but not a very good physician.. I've been trying for years to get my family to go somewhere else, but they know they will never get the medication they're on now from another doctor

She is so kind and compassionate. She is willing to listen and help in any way she can.

I want to thank God for the knowledge to find this sweet, compassionate doctor who I can honestly say she takes time to listen to me and understanding to my medical issues... Heard she would prescribed pain meds to those that need them. She does but also drug tests you monthly and if you haven't been taking them or taking some4thing else you lose your dr and prescriptions lol. Also don't call this place with a question I believe they ignore the phone ringing and a person only gets placed on hold. Very poor staff

My wife and I both see her. She's always been willing to listen to my concerns with an open mind, formulates care plans based on actual patient conditions and otherwise has provided a positive and beneficial care experience.

Referred me to an orthopedic surgeon in Herrin to remove metal from foot because she was afraid to break it off, but when got there they said there was nothing there worthy of removing (less than 1mm long). 3 days later the pain and infection was so great I cut the infection open and a 13-15mm piece of metal came out. They both were wrong. Will NEVER go back.
