Dr. Emily Cope Harrison, MD

I have read the below reviews and wish I had looked them up long ago. I will be looking for a new Dr. as well. I am very disappointed with the attention and care she provided. She really can't seem to be bothered with too many questions. It is a waste of a co-pay and could have been handled via email. They prefer you email, you do and then they ask you to come in; taking time out of work that takes 2 minutes for the appointment and I am a long time patient who barely needs to be seen. Waiting on the line for your turn in the queue takes forever and most times I have used my whole lunch break waiting. The appointment situation is terrible as you need to call two days in advance to be seen in two days; if not you can make an appointment and wait 3 months to be seen. Sounds like this office is biting off more than they can chew. You won't be billing my Insurance Co. anymore. Good-bye

This office is uncaring and rude. You can't rely on them for anything, strongly advise anyone with serious health problems to avoid this office because they'd probably let you die. They don't return messages for days I've waited a week in some cases. You complain, nothing happens so the staff, the manager and the Dr don't give a crap about you. I'm probably one of the easiest patients, no major health concerns, hardly any meds, I see them only if I need to and I still got majorly screwed by this office. AVOID.

This woman will let you die before she gives you a anti biotic for a infection. Its like if she treats you like a drug addict seeking drugs when you just need a anti biotic not drugs. Go to memorial the interns are way better alot safer. This woman should not be allowed to be a doctor nurse nurses assistant nothing in medical field. Iwould not trust my animal with her.

Dr. Emily Harrison is a wonderful doctor. The one thing I really dislike is the people answering the phones to make appointments. They always have an attitude and do not give you any help.

I have been going to Dr. Harrison for about 3 years now. I have to wait on the phone from about 20-45 anytime I need an appointment. I had a UTI one time, and the staff told me I needed to wait two weeks for an appointment! Every time I have gone to the dr. she belittles me for waiting too long to come to her when there is a problem. I have never had this experience with any other dr. ever. Please save your self the time, energy, and emotional health and do not go to this doctor.

This women is the most dangerous general practitioner I've ever had. Infection with 5/6 symptoms, her response is "No I won't prescribe you antibiotics, you must come in first"Then when I arrive and show the symptoms, she says "Let's wait a day or so and see if it goes away"Scared the @#@! out of me, and I dropped her the following month, when she claimed to be a knee specialist, in an office without an x-ray or MRI, and refused a referral to a well known knee specialist that was in network, because she was going to 'decide' what the best action was, for a knee injury I had for about a decade and already had a specialist for.

First it take the staff 30 to answer when your put on hold by the machine operator. And that if you don't get disconnected first. It took me 3 months to get an appointment for a simple physical, not only to be cancel twice. To put insult to injury the try to reschedule the appointment for a month later.

I totally agree with the other 2 reviews of Dr. Harrison. She does not seem very interested in listening to anything you have to say and if you ask more than a couple of questions she will say well we can talk about that next time. My two teenagers also started seeing her and they both have asked me to find them new doctors. I will be finding all of us new doctors as at my last visit Dr Harrison was very unprofessional and lectured me in front of my daughter who could not believe that any doctor would conduct themselves in such a manner. I find her to be unpredictable and honestly her nurse who is wonderful in my opinion is much more professional and concerned for me as a patient.

Dr. Harrison seemed to blow off my concerns about a medical condition I was having. I was asking questions about my concerns and she just totally seemed to disregard anything I had to ask. Even worse is that she said she was going to look over lab work and other documents regarding this issue that had been taken by other doctors. When I asked her about what she thought about all the information she said she never even seen it at all. I was so angry at her blatant disregard for my serious medicalcondition. I was wondering if I had to go to surgery and she seemed as if she just wanted me to get out of her office. If your a women who is concerned about a medical condition you might be experiencing please do your self a favor and look somewhere else.

I feel that Dr. Emily Harrison was never attentive to my needs, I always felt rushed with her. She would blow off my symptoms/worries and tell me I was fine/normal. She had a lot of opinions which is fine, but you should still look into things. I received a second opinion and found that I did indeed have something wrong.
