Dr. Emily Mary Hoag, MD

She was treating my daughter and when my daughter asked for a refill of her meds - this Dr was on vacation and told my daughter to go see her regular physician. This woman should not be practicing meds at all doing this to her patients. She NEVER followed up at all.

I was not only disappointed, but dangerously concerned about my sessions with Dr Hoag. She didn’t know who I was after meeting me 4 times, didn’t know which meds she prescribed me, did not talk to other doctors on my team nor seem to think that was necessary and threw out diagnoses without any form of assessment. She then wrote prescriptions after objecting to me needing them but said “if you want it, I’ll write it” Her diagnostic protocols are negligent and her demeaning comments to a patient who is already mentally compromised are dangerous.

Dr. Hoag was attentive and understanding. She displayed outstanding skill in empathy and diagnosis. At the same time she was both professional and warm.
