Dr. Emily Signe Mika, MD

Dr. Mika truly cares about my well being. I was concerned about my lab test results and she explained to me that for my age they were excellent. She takes her time explaining my concern and answering my questions and advising me how at my age I can still improve my daily living. Her staff is very courteous and always returns my calls. I feel very confident that all care about my health.

I saw Dr Mika about a year ago and similar to another review, she treated me like an addict trying to get pain pills. I said I was having awful pain in my neck, back and other joints and she dismissed me. Wanted me to do a urine test, it was humiliating. Well, I was just recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis by a real doctor, one who cared enough to listen and help me with my pain. Shame on you, Dr Mika, not everyone is a junkie trying to score. Listen to your patients. I have a very painful, debilitating disease and I could have been treated this past year instead of suffering!

Treatment choice was very risky. Didn't seem to look at my situation as an individual. I immediately got a second opinion who did not agree with her treatment choice and thought her choice to be a risk to my health.

Bad bad bad

Practically no wait time, extremely clean facilities, friendly and professional. Immediately removed my reservations of finding a new doctor.

Dr Mika didn't listen to me at all. I'm on meds for back pain, but she just assumed I was an addict. Gave me another med that caused severe chest pains. She never spoke to me about this, just had her assistant talk to me. I took a urine test to prove I wasn't an addict, but that changed nothing. Thankfully, I found another doctor, a good doctor, who listened and was smart enough to see I wasn't addicted
