Dr. Emily Newton-Cheh, MD

Required care for an emergent uterine issue that has continued for months without adequate time and attention given by Dr. Che to developing a nuanced treatment plan and solution. It’s been close to impossible to get a call back and staff has been arrogant, rude and unhelpful in response to expressed frustration. This is not a practice that manages patient centered care well at all. Looking for a new provider immediately.

I met with Dr. Cheh, had an exam and was denied birth control because I had gained 20 pounds. She was arrogant, patronizing, and had a terrible bedside manner. Don’t waste your time with this doctor. She should be ashamed of how she treats patients.

Dr. Newton-Cheh is an excellent GYN. She's very knowledgeable about endometriosis and is also great surgeon. She thoroughly explained my options for treatment and is also very responsive to any and all questions -- silly as I may think they are. She is very comforting and is very nice. I can even reach her through email! Dr. Newton-Cheh is an outstanding doctor.

I've gone to Dr. Newton-Cheh on three seperate occassions. Each time she appears distant, and spent very little time with me discussing my issues. Instead of talking to you, she talks at you. When someone has concerns about their health, they need a Doctor who can accurately diagnois and reassure them. I'm sure that she's a good doctor, but definately lacks bedside manner. However the staff is very courteous and friendly.

does not listen. very assuming! poor bed-side manner. do not recommend her at all. find another gyn. you need someone that cares and knows you. not friendly even...
