Dr. Emma Geraldine Cargado-Leynes, DO, DO

Messed up in a simple procedure and caused a hematoma and then has the nerve to laugh about it while she’s fixing the hematoma. Never stitched the hematoma or offered antibiotics to stop a possible infection

It is very disappointing to see an OB GYN with such lack of bedside manner (didn’t explain what was going on to me and was very dismissive). Dr. Leynes-Cargado should be ashamed of the way she treats women during labor and delivery. What a disappointing birth experience I had due to this terrible doctor. Woodward and Associates really needs to rethink what medical professionals they are partnering with and representing their practice as Dr. Leynes-Cargado was the on call doctor when I went into labor. I am considering switching practices due to how awful my experience was with this doctor and don’t want to risk getting another terrible dr should W&A not be in call if I have another baby.

I would rate zero if I could. This doctor was unfortunately on call for the shared practice with my Ob/Gyn group when I gave birth. My experience was honestly terrible. Doctor had no bed-side manner and actually went as far as yelling at me to "stop pushing" when my daughter's head was already out because she had to get her gloves on. (Had she listened to me communicating I had to push, she would have not had to rush back to the room.) She was very cold and like the other review said, left the room immediately as if she could care less. Would not recommend and am not sure why she is in this field.

Unfortunately she was the on call doctor when my wife and I came to the hospital to deliver our first child, she treated my wife like cattle, roughly checking her when she was having a contraction, she did not explain anything, wiped the discharge from her gloves on my wife’s leg and bed, threw her gloves in the bin and walked out of the room, literally below any standard of care possible. It’s a shame that they let this woman practice on women in pregnancy. She caused so much pain and offered no help in my wives situation. It’s sad because she really tarnished a beautiful time in our life.

I saw Dr. Leynes for the first time today during a very emotional visit. I was in a panic. Dr. Leynes was awesome. She is one of the most empathetic and supportive physicians I have ever met. She was kind, extremely knowledgeable and just wonderful. She was patient and understanding about my situation and scheduled an immediate ultra-sound. I loved her

She knew from my history that I had PCOS and had NEVER ovulated. She also knew my desire to start a family. Despite this, she made me wait an entire year before trying any fertility drugs. Then, once she did prescribe Clomid, she never bothered to run any tests to see if it actually worked. She simply said, "Well, you didn't get pregnant this month." She is very ineffective and uncaring.
