Dr. Emma Janet Castillo, MD

Dr Emma Castillo excellent Dr..She had treated me for over 10 years .I feel she had save my life Companionate, caring. her treatment always has been excellent and to the point. I will fallow her for my treatment any where as possible. She listen, explain plan of treatment. A very good Dr i recommend her .Thank you Dr Castillo Daisy Miller.

Can I leave no star? Awful doctor. Lacks empathy and could care less about her patients. She actually read me someone else's chart for the first part of my appointment because she never looked up! Her medical assistant is a joke. He will never call you back or return your messages. Don't allow yourself to be in this Doctor's Care. She is a disgrace.

Awful Doctor and Medical Assistant

Dr. Castillo is kind, caring and compassionate.

Dr. Castillo is one of my all time favorite doctors! I've been seeing her since 2016 and I've referred several family members to her. She takes the time to listen, never makes me feel rushed, she's smart enough to understand my complicated medical history, and she has very a thorough, proactive approach. She is also one of the most compassionate doctors I've seen.... I have a long medical story and she genuinely cared about it. She is excellent with communication ... one time she called me on Christmas Eve to give me test results so i wouldn't have to spend the holiday worrying about it. The rest of my doctors would have been checked out for vacation. For me, that was a level of professionalism and caring that i haven't found anywhere else. Every interaction with Dr. Castillo and her office has been a positive helpful experience. I have seen many many doctors over the past few years and Dr. Castillo is one of the very best! I would refer her to anyone!

I really liked Dr. Castillo after the first visit. I was happy to have found someone I thought would be a great doctor. What a disappointment. If you have a problem that needs more than a quick follow up you are out of luck. When I asked her if she was going to run tests her response was, “You won’t be happy if I don’t.” After months of pain I ended up at Mayo Clinic where my condition was diagnosed and treated within a week. She has potential, she just isn’t using it.

I highly recommend Dr. Emma Castillo! After a consultation, and later a colonoscopy, I found her to be professional, informed, and very caring.

I went to Dr. Castillo because of the reviews I read about her here and because she was recommended by another one of my doctors. I was very disappointed in her and her MA. I had to call there 3 times to get my CT Scan results. I never got to talk to her about the results, I had to talk to her MA. Then she scheduled a colonoscopy when the CT Scan showed "possible" issues. The prep (Suprep) was easy to do, but was not very successful. She said the results of the prep were "poor." If she knows this prep isn't that good, she should have the patients do more of a prep, ie with laxatives, etc. Once that was done, she wanted to schedule a barium enema (to which I would NEVER agree) because she didn't prepare her patient very well for the colonscopy. I spoke to her MA (again, you can't talk to her) and told her I needed something else besides Miralax, she said she would contact Dr. Castillo for me, that there were some different pills we could try. I have never heard back from her… MA; it has been 2 weeks. I would recommend that Dr. Castillo NOT take on any more new patients since she can't even care for the ones she has already!

I felt the staff were so nice everyone had a smile and made feel like they truly care about me. Dr. Castillo is amazing she truly takes all the time you need to truly help you find out what's wrong with you and has a target plan. she is sooooo kind and caring person. she is very real. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting a loving caring dr. who will get down to the bottom of what's wrong with you. very knowledgeable in her specialty. If I every have any other questions or concerns either Dr. Castillo or her amazing assistant get back to me promptly withing 24 to 48 hours. I feel so much better after my care with Dr. Castillo.
