Dr. Emmanuel Jabea Esaka, MD

Dr.Esaka was my Dr when he was in Seaford, he was horrible! My son ingested his bowl movement when he was born due to Dr. Esaka being negligent. Also, he refused to inform me that the essure was not reversible, he botched my surgery then took off. I was told he went back to Nigeria however obviously that's not true! Beware ladies, I don't wish for any other woman to go through the pain of not being able to carry anymore children due to his lack of knowledge as well as his lack of respect for the patient.

I would not recommend esaka to ANYONE. Hes the worst doctor I've ever been to.

Dr. Esaka created a terrible experience for my wife, wasted our time and money. I would not recommend Dr. Esaka for new patients, and not for emergency cases, he simply is too busy to give you time you need. He disregarded my wife's level of pain (prescribing only ibuprofen, past instance the level of pain called for percocet), only saw her for 5 minutes (I can't wait to see the itemized bill), and made her feel quite uncomfortable and uncared for in that time. She had been experiencing a Bartholin cyst for the past week, a condition she has had treated before about 10 months ago at Christiana Hospital when it became too painful after not passing on its own. She also experienced another occurrence a few months ago that passed on its own. This time, we were unable to get an appointment anywhere, but Dr. Esaka's office was able to come through. This was her first time at this office and doctor. After waiting 45 minutes for her 2:00 appointment, the doctor spent only a few minutes with… her. He asked on 4 separate occasions if she was diabetic, repeating the same answer of no every time. He made comments about her body area that she felt was very uncomfortable. Dr. Esaka's attitude gave the impression he simply did not want to perform the procedure on her at that time, insisting that she make an appointment for Friday. Later we found out Wednesday and Thursdays are their busy days, thus rushing her in and out. Today, my wife woke up in extreme pain, could not concentrate on anything expect the pain this condition she had (The ibuprofen did nothing to help). We took her to the Christiana Care Woman's Triage Center. There, they told her there was no reason Dr. Esaka should have held off on the procedure, it should have been taken care of then due to the level of pain my wife was in. If we knew about this other location prior, we would have gone there yesterday and saved her a day of unnecessary pain.

Dr Esaka has excellent bedside mannerism and is very interested in my overall health and well being.

Very impersonal, never called or put test results on IQHealth as promised. gave the staff new updated information, never was changed and got billed for the entire visit. Never going back again!

If you are pregnant do not count on this man. He'll let you go into labor for days until it becomes an emergency will he decide to do the csection. Which in turn caused the babies oxygen supply to get cut off for too long and now the baby will be disabled. All because he wouldn't order a csection the first time the heart rate went down.

I love Dr. Esaka!!!! He is very patient and makes me feel comfortable. Ive had 3 bad doctors before him. He kept my head up through out my whole pregnancy because i had a rough labor with my first child and bad doctor. I would recommend him to every woman i know!

I have been going to Dr. Esaka since 2012 and having him as my GYN has been a blessing. I suffer from a combination of issues including fibroids and Dr. Esaka was the only doctor able to return my life to normalcy. Previously, I had been to six different GYNs in the past three years and my condition only continued to get worse. Dr. Esaka is honest and genuinely cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend him to any woman.

Dr. Esaka did my TAH two tears ago he was very insensitive and did not take time to answer any of my questions. Two years later I'm having so many complications with endometriosis, after Dr. esaka swore up and down to me that I did not have endometriosis. Please find a competent dr before electing hm

Dr. Esaka is a very good doctor. I have been to several doctors in Delaware and believe me, there are worse. He will stay late if you need him to and he makes you feel very comfortable, he even squeezed me in on Christmas Eve and another appointment right after he came back from surgery. I would recommend him to anyone!
