He then completed his internship and residency in neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Finally, he completed his fellowship in neuro-oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.Dr. Mantilla has published several scientific articles in the field of neuro-oncology and has participated in numerous clinical trials. He has recently become the principal investigator for a clinical trial that will open soon and is a sub-principal investigator in multiple ongoing trials.
