Dr. Emmanuel Michael Martakis, MD

Dr. Martakis is a wonderful pediatrician and human being. Knowledgeable, patient and lovable with children. 100% recommended!!

Dr. Martakis is a very good ediatrician. He is very child friendly, and likes to ask the children what's going on. My son feels very confortable with him.

While I absolutely love Dr. Martakis as the physician, his office staff is terrible. You can't get in to see him when you need to, and the staff are never there on time. If the office opens at 9 am I expect to be able to speak to someone at 9:01 am, and not at 9:30 am. While there is the understanding that many parents call at opening time, there have been times when I've been advised that the staff is not even there yet to answer the calls. Very disappointing services from the staff. Rather than being apologetic, most of the staff is very defensive and argumentative on the phone. Not something a mother wants to hear when child is sick.

What a wonderful doctor- I hope he never leaves Port Jervis. He's kind, caring and intelligent. He's provided excellent care for my 15yr old son and my 1yr old grandaughter.
