I have had MS since 2002. I have seen many neurologists. Dr. Waubant has been the best. She is super smart, thorough and I have no words that can adequately express what a good doctor she is.

Dr Waubant took extra time reviewing my results to ensure accuracy. Very much appreciate her expertise and care and concern.

We sought out a second opinion for our three year old daughter. (UCSF) And much to our delight Dr. Waubant was a breath of fresh air. So thankful for her time and care. Amazing bedside manner and even better expertise.

Dr. Waubant is one of the best doctor I have ever had: she is available and always quick at answering my e-mails with good recommendations and advice. I'm no more feeling alone to fight against the disease.

I have received excellent care from Dr. Waubant for the last 10 years. I was diagnosed 16 years ago and have always worked with the neurologists at UCSF MS Center, but Dr. Waubant is the best! She is always on top of the latest therapies for MS and because of her I have lived a happy and productive life and not let my MS control my life.

I was diagnosed with MS in the fall of 2011 and it was a very stressful time for me. I had spent many years prior to my diagnosis undergoing numerous tests and meeting with many Drs. trying to find out what was wrong with me. After many years it was finally confirmed to be MS. It was important for me to be working with a Dr.(neurologist) who could help me decipher all of my test results and MRI and talk with me about my future with the disease, my options and what the results meant as far as the progression of the disease. I was lucky to be connected with Dr. Emmanuelle Waubant who spent so much quality time with me. I felt I could smile and breath again. Her experience and expertise in dealing with MS patients, along with her incredibly approachable personality enabled me to feel comfortable with my future with MS. It is a very different world now than it was 20 years ago when Dr. Waubant first began her career and focus with MS and she has kept "her finger on the pulse" and… knows the pros and cons of each of the many options available to her patients. I can't imagine my life without her. She is an amazing help, support and resource.

As a mom, I feel very fortunate to have my daughter under Dr. Waubant's care in the Pediatric MS Clinic. Dr. Waubant is extremely knowledgeable, and we've relied on her informed treatment recommendations over the past two and a half years. She's up on the latest research developments, and she's very responsive to our questions and requests in between appointments. Having a child with a chronic illness, it's reassuring to know that her doctor is only a phone call or email away. I would highly recommend Dr. Waubant to anyone whose child has MS.

I have had many neurologists prior to Dr. Waubant, but she has proven to be the best ever in terms of caring for me individually coupled with a knowledge base that would be hard to top. Dr. Waubant is the most intelligent Doc I have had, and she is able to take her knowledge and translate it to me in a caring way. Dr. Waubant truly cares about her patients.

Did not seem to listen to or care about much of anything I had to say. Absolutely NO follow up by Dr. Waubant or anyone else in the office regarding my MRI or the blood work that was done (the second time this has happened at the UCSF MS center.) After two years of "treatment" in this office, I simply cannot comprehend how UCSF is considered one of the top 10 hospitals in the nation.Additionally, the intake administrator, Marcia Thompson, is one of the worst individuals I have ever encountered in the medical field.

After running 2 hours late for an appointment that I had to schedule 8 months in advance, she blamed me for why she was running late (I was 10 minutes late. I got lost and the hospital staff were unhelpful in giving directions). She didn't seem to be terribly interested in my opinion about medical treatment. For a plus, she is quite knowledgeable.
