Dr. Endrika Leon Hinton, MD

After two years of dealing with infertility and early pregnancy loss, we switched to Dr.Hinton’s practice from Shady Grove because we were looking for a more personal approach. Dr. Hinton was so knowledgeable and really took the time to get to know my husband and I. I appreciated her to-the-point explanations and her no B.S. approach. She gets right to the point while still being very personable and kind. Dr.Hinton was extremely accessible through the entire process, even coming in on weekend mornings to work around my cycle. Dr.Hinton made it possible for us to get pregnant after years of trying and we can’t thank her enough. If you are having a difficult time conceiving and looking for a knowledgeable doctor to take you through the next steps, start here. My only regret is that we didn’t come to see Dr.Hinton sooner!

It is clear that Dr. Hinton loves her job and takes it very seriously. From my initial visit, she took the time to get to know me, took my concerns seriously, and was thorough in evaluating my case and determining the best course of action. I was very nervous about undergoing a major surgical procedure, but Dr. Hinton put my mind at ease by being easy to contact and answering all of my questions. I had no trouble getting an appointment at short notice, and of all of the visits to her office I only had to wait once. Her staff was friendly and eager to help with my many, panicked post-op questions. Major surgery is no fun, but it sure helps to have a great surgeon!

I've been a patient of Dr. Hinton's for over ten years. She is professional and very knowledgeable. Excellent surgeon and very thorough addressing all concerns.

Dr. Hinton is wonderful! She is incredibly knowledgable and the best doctor. She was able to help me when I was misdiagnosed. I can't say enough about her as a doctor!

Dr. Hinton is awesome unfortunately her staff drags her down.

I have severe anxiety due to being sexually assaulted as a teen and I also have PCOS, which makes it difficult to lose weight. Dr. Hinton has told me to count calories while knowing about my history with anorexia as a teenager. She has brushed off my concerns and her office has lost my labs and their results. She's a passive aggressive bully!

I chose Dr. Hinton’s practice because I didn’t want to be just another number & I hoped a smaller office would decrease errors. However, during my 6 months of infertility treatment, I had many issues with communication. When I addressed the multiple occurrences of miscommunication with Dr. Hinton, I was made to feel as if it was my fault. Never in my life have I had a physician argue with me and blame me for issues that stem directly from her staff! I work in healthcare, so I brushed many issues off, but after one instance lead to a cancelled frozen embryo transfer - I had to speak up. While I’m sure Dr. Hinton is quite knowledgeable, her bedside manner and her staff make dealing with infertility that much more difficult. I do not recommend, unless you have a ton of free time to constantly advocate for your own healthcare and make sure her & her staff properly do their jobs.

She was adamant that I get a biopsy done based on + HPV results. Biopsy was normal and I resent that she was so forceful about it. Ultimately it’s my body and I didn’t feel that she was respectful of that.
