This man, Dr. Balcos bailed on my daughter's mental health treatment, he knew the severity of her illness and yet left her hanging, he didn't show up for the appointment and left her without medication. His mailbox is full and is nowhere to be found!! He needs to be reported to the BBS!!

Stay away from this person. He does not have the health of his patients as a priority. He does not inform, he lies, and yells. His sole purpose is to bilk money from insurance companies.

i am a very happy and satisfied patient of dr balcos. he has helped me through many rough times on my emotional journey. he always takes time with me and when i leave his office i am uplifted by his sound recommendations and jovial, upbeat, bedside manner. it is important to choose a physician that creates a comfortable caring environment. dr balcos has always done that for me. i recommend him without equivocation!!!

I was seen by Dr. Balcos while hospitalized for severe depression and a suicide attempt. I found him to be very attentive and compassionate. He took the time to explain my treatment options. He also has a good sense of humor.

I would never recommend him to anyone. If a friend or family member went to him, I'd strongly suggest they get a second opinion.

He is very rude and does not see what is best for the patient... very hostile and rude.

This doctor is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He is a dangerous man, only thinking of money and insurance, literally emotionally torturing his patients. Stay away from this sick man. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with my insurance company, he must be stopped.

He was the doctor in charge when my minor child was hospitalized. He refused to speak to me. He did not obtain any history about her. He decided how long she would be in the hospital upon admission, and kept her there illegally, only discharging her when an attorney contacted the hospital. He is a menace.
