Dr. Eric Matthew Block, DDS

Eric M. Block , DMD  Dr Eric Block was born and raised in Andover, Massachusetts where his father practiced dentistry for many years. He graduated with a degree in psychology from Tulane University where he played on Tulane's Division 1 tennis team. During this period he spent his summers as the director of the Andover Tennis Academy, teaching both children and adults. Following his graduation from Tulane he attended Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, graduating with a DMD degree in 2002. Dr. Block then attended the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where he completed a two year Dental Implantology residency. He is one of a select group of dentists who have been trained in both the latest surgical and restorative phases of dental implants. He has become an integral member of the Acton Dental Associates team, bringing his expertise in dental implants, periodontics and cosmetic dentistry to our practice. He is a member of the …International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He has given multiple presentations on Dental Implants and Bone Grafting procedures and has been an instructor at the Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr. Block enjoys playing tennis, running, working out, watching movies and reading in his spare time. He is available for consultations and second opinions on all phases of restorative dentistry especially in the field of dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
