Dr. Eric Rolf Carlblom, MD

Dr. Carlblom has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced during an Emergency. He not only cared for me, but was very informative and patient with my family members. His office staff is well informed - AND FOUGHT our insurance company to get me what I was entitled too - that the insurance company wanted to repeatedly deny. Physicians today, not only need to practice medicine, but seemingly, also needs to know how to make the insurance companys provide the services we pay for through our premuims. People who rate a physician based upon whether they had to pay a physician or not - get exactly the kind of health care they deserve - which is worth nothing. A good physician will forego money issues, while concentrating on providing quality care - whether the insurance company pays for it or not!

my husband was medi-flighted to modesto doctors hospital with a major broken leg from hip to knee. this doctor was the one that did the emergency surgery and was keeping the family informed on what was going to be done. he first told me that it was going to be about 2 hours, 3 1/2 hours later still not out and the explaination we got was that he was unprepared for what was needed to be done. bigest news was that the surgery was needed to be redone 1 week later, Eric Carlblom didnt measure the rod that was place in his leg right so we were told that my husband only 21 years old would not be able to walk again, if an other surgery was not done to fix the problem..he is a kaiser patient and they revised the surgey and everything is now better..returned back to work 10 months later after eric carlblom stated a 2 year recovery..lol. we are now being billed for his services since our insurance refused to pay for his work.
