I have never left a review on a doctor but felt it absolutely necessary after my horrific experience with Dr Drew. He is rude, condescending and unhelpful. He just wants to write a script and is not even remotely interested in what your symptoms are. I went for migraines; he never asked me a single question. Where are your headaches, when do you get them. Do you wake up with them? He is arrogant and truly is not interested in the patient.. An embarrassment to the medical community. The medication he called me in made my headaches worse; so after 12 days I called and asked if I should continue taking. I had another appointment already set for 3 weeks after my first appt. He had told me if this medication didn’t work he would try another one. He did not. He had a nurse call be back and say he can’t help me and he had canceled my next appointment and said I should go to a different doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Eric Drew by my general doctor for possible pinched nerve. He is thorough & listens to your concerns along with being personable and easy to talk with. Before & during the EMG he explained the process. Afterwards I was given treatment options. Dr. Drew along with his staff are friendly & professional. Communication was great - they handled preauthorization w/insurance & called me prior to the appointment to let me know approx. cost since I had not met my deductible. I appreciated there being no surprises. They are punctual. I had no wait time for either the virtual office visit or the in-office appointment. I am impressed by Dr. Drew and his staff & feel confident in my receiving expert medical care.

I took the referral I was given because I witnessed a lot of improvement in the person receiving Dr Drew's help. Well... when the muscle relaxer prescriptions failed to help ME and the Botox injections only worked once for stroke tight spasticity, I didn't know what to think. Apparently, this was above Dr Drew's pay grade and he dismissed me to see Texas Neurology as a referral. Their approval rating wasn't much better than Dr Drew's. I found a Flower Mound functional neurologist who spent more time with me on the first appointment than Dr Drew spent with me in a year's time! It's amazing how much benefit I received from being chased away by Dr Drew's lack of ability to help me! That said, I will say the Amitriptyline he prescribed really did help my central nervous system. Do your homework and read reviews!

I met with Dr. Drew 2-3 times a few years ago. He ignored about half my symptoms, sent me to a bogus subspecialist because I suspect he had a diagnosis in mind before he ordered tests, didn't look at my MRI disc himself, trusting a radiologist's report that missed a tumor, and as a result misdiagnosed me completely.

Dr. Drew was good at diagnosing the problem. Unfortunately, after he prescribed a drug that the insurance company initially denial, the ball was dropped. He did not perform a “peer-to-peer” as I requested, and worse, his staff lied to me several times that the peer-to-peer was performed but the drug was still denied. Only after asking for details about the alleged discussion did the staff admit no peer-to-peer was performed. No apologies, just lies! Unacceptable.

The worst neurologist ever. Not a good listener at all. Got a 2nd opinion elsewhere and making progress for answers. Would not recommend this guy to anyone.

I agree with the dismissive comment that someone else said along with if it's not simple...for get it! This was the worst experience I had ever had with a neurologist! Pick someone else and save yourself the stress of seeing someone who is arrogant, dismissive and really seems disinterested!

Referred to him by endocrinologist to rule out MS. After asking about my symptoms, and I described them. He told me I seemed very focused on my symptoms. What? Isn’t that what he just asked? He then summarized them as “nuisances “more than real symptoms. Extremely dismissive of what 2 other Drs were concerned about. Got nothing out of the visit. If it isn’t obvious, he can’t diagnose it.

He always listen and answer all my questions, he is really friendly, he makes me feel comfortable even if am having a bad migraine

I have been seeing Dr. Drew for years now and he has been a terrific help in managing my migraines. He has been a huge help in diagnosing the cause and prescribing preventative medication. I can give him my highest recommendation!
