We were referenced to Dr. Eross by my son's primary phisician. My son suddenly started having accute migraines that would literally drop him to the ground. Dr. Eross was able to quickly diagnose my son and define treatment and medications. My son's migraines were completely gone. Dr. Eross is very professional and knowleadgeable, and his staff is kind and friendly. I definitively recommend him. Thanks.

Before finding Dr. Eross I went to many ER's for my migraines with no answer. For the first time in my extensive medical background I did not ask my other doctors who they knew. I found him on my own and I am thankful for it. He is patient, kind, and really cares. Answers all of my questions with clarity and makes sure I completely understand the plan. He has moved offices a few times but that is because he took a chance on something and it did not work out. So glad he is back on his own again! When he was at CORE that was not his fault, the disorganization, rudeness, through it all he remained true. I don't trust my head to just anyone....but Dr. Eross is one!!!

Prior to coming to Dr Eross I suffered with debilitating migraine pain-unable to function and more or less in a zombie state. Yes, you do have to fill out a lot of paperwork, which I detest doing. But I realize he needs this to understand your history and the extent of your pain. He listened to me and gave me options. Upon follow-up visits, he takes the time to listen to your feedback and he suggests alternatives on that feedback that you have the option to accept or decline. We determined that Botox injections were a good option for me and I received these for about three years. Finally, these became too costly for me to continue and Dr Eross prescribed a different medication solution to try. We are now fine tuning this, but I still am getting outstanding results from my therapy. As for his staff, I find them extremely courteous and friendly. I like his new location and the atmosphere is pleasing in the waiting area when you arrive. There is low lighting and cool temperatures. All… in all, I would definitely recommend Dr Eross if you are in need of an evaluation of your migraine pain. Firiendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and a doctor that cares about you quality of life.

I have had headaches for years that recently increased to migraines. I saw Dr Eross and was given so much compassion from him and his staff. I could tell he knew what I was going through and was eager to help. I am doing so much better thanks to Dr Eross! His staff is also wonderful, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Eross is very knowledgeable and has many tools he uses to help patients. Bonus is his amazing staff that are quick to get you answers and appointments.

I was able to see Dr. Eross at their new Scottsdale office off Chochise Road (Near Scottsdale Rd and Shea) a couple months ago for the first time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a lot of paper work to initially fill out, and more when arriving early for my appointment, but all for a good understanding and history of my condition and what I've been through. Once I was able to sit down with Dr. Eross, he first listened to my "story" of how I've been dealing with these horrible cluster headaches! I've been through so many Dr.'s and clinics over the years, it was nice to actually hear him say he knew what cluster headaches were, and how they can utterly take over and control you life. We discussed options moving forward, and came up with a plan. Fast acting relief for the cluster headaches, and then a long term fix-plan as well. I've been taking steroids for years as it was the only "drug" that worked for me to help break up the cluster cycle. I was… recently diagnosed with type II diabetes brought on by taking "steroids" for so many years. Now, I'm almost off the steroids, my blood sugars are almost back to normal and the cluster headaches have subsided at least 70% and I've only seen Dr. Eross twice so far. He also uses cutting edge treatment methods, meds and equipment, things I've never heard of, and I'm a cluster headache expert! The staff has been more than helpful in following up, showing me how specific medicines-equipment are administrated...etc. When I was late for my appointment, they were able to fit me in, with out too much of a wait, and Dr. Eross was more the respectful, understanding and extremely helpful. After dealing with cluster (and migraine) headaches for over 20 years, I finally think I've found the right Dr. I would reccommend Dr. Eross to anyone suffering from any type of headaches. Dr. Eric Eross and his staff at The Phoenix Headache Institute are amazing. They truly care about their patients. Dr. Eross really listens to you and comes up with the best plan of attack to treat your headache/migraine. I suffered for years before seeing Dr. Eross and finally getting relief.

I had the same horrible experience that other people posted about. I have chronic daily headaches and migraines. 21 years. I had to fill out 27 pages of history that took me a week to complete and he did not read it. The very first page makes you feel like you are already a problem patient and is severe, demanding and condescending in tone. 3 months for an appointment. 3 hour wait. Music was playing loudly in the lobby. Children were running around playing. This is a migraine/headache clinic - not the grocery store. Someone came into the lobby with my medical records and asked me what they were. They had demanded the medical records in that packet they made me fill out and they don’t know what they are? They are medical records. The doctor saw me for 5 minutes. Pushed his vitamins. Dumped me on a nurse who just stared at me. He was gone and I was wondering what just happened. I left for the 3 hour drive back home in tears. Luckily my husband was with me. I’m… sure no one would believe this. If you go prepare yourself mentally. You’ve been warned.
